Raised in Grande Prairie since 1978, I have witnessed the tremendous change and growth that has transformed the Grande Prairie and Area into the diverse economic region that it has become today.
After High School, I attended NAIT for 4 years in the apprenticeship program while working in my family’s business. In July of 2000, I decided to change my career and work in Retail Building Supplies/Home Improvement, where after 5 years I assumed the role of General Manager. While working for the Large National Home Improvement Chain, I had the opportunity to attend the John Molson School of Business (2011-2012) in the Altitude Program for Supply Chain Management. After working for that company for a total of 14 years it was time for a change, in the fall of 2014 I pursued a career in Home Building, I started as a Construction Manager for a high volume Home Builder and assumed the role of General Manager after the first year overseeing all aspects of New Home Construction including the negotiating and selling of all homes.

Kirk Fowler has been a resident of Grande Prairie since 2004 and has lived and worked in the Peace
Country since 1995. He Graduated from Olds College and has a dual diploma in Surface Land Agent and
Soil Classification & Reclamation. Kirk had an extensive career as a Surveyor, Surface Land Agent and
Environmental Specialist working throughout the Peace Country. More recently he expanded his career

I was born in Grande Prairie and raised in the Beaverlodge area until heading off to college. I attended Mount Royal College in Calgary and completed a Business Administration Diploma Program and then started my career in sales and marketing. Originally it was in the gas and oilfield industry, but switched to being a REALTOR® and have been licensed now for nearly 29 years.
I chose to move back to Grande Prairie and make it my home where I met my wife. We have a daughter who is following in her mother's foot steps to be a nurse, and a son who lives in Victoria. Most of our extended family live in the Grande Prairie area and have been long time residents. Family get togethers are usually large.
I've been involved in Rotary for many years. I enjoy running, hiking, travelling and spending time with family and friends. In addition to being a REALTOR® I also had a construction company for 11 years doing new home construction, a commercial shop and also did two years of insurance reconstruction work. It was very rewarding to create things, but I've decided now to concentrate only on real estate.

Brenton - Associate Broker, was born and raised in the Grande Prairie area, spending his childhood in Spirit River and moved to Grande Prairie after graduating high school. John is very patient with buyers as they take their time deciding on the best home for their family. John lists properties for sale in Grande Prairie and in the Spirit River / Rycroft area. Living on farms for 50 years, he is also very familiar with country residential and acreage properties and enjoys sharing his expertise in this area.
John Krol was raised in Spirit River and lived there for his first 50 years. John has three married adult children: Angela who is a mother of four, Brenton who is also a REALTOR® and Steven who is a mechanical engineer in Edmonton. John moved to Grande Prairie in 2008 when he married Angie Peters.
As a young adult, John spent some time in central Alberta framing houses and then returned to Spirit River to join his father and brother on the family dairy farm. Later, John owned and operated a beef cattle farm. In 2002, John was injured in a skiing accident and decided to take the opportunity to study real estate while he could not work on the farm. For a few years he did both farming and real estate and then decided that full time Real Estate was his new chosen career. John has been at Royal LePage The Realty group since 2008 and he and his wife seized the opportunity to purchase the brokerage in June 2011.
John enjoys supporting his community by serving on boards such as the Agricultural Service Board, 18 years as Trustee for Spirit River on the Catholic School Board, including two years as the President of the Alberta Catholic School Trustee Association, and currently serves as a Director on the Grande Prairie Real Estate Board. Kelly was born and raised in Grande Prairie and is extremely proud to call it home today. Both of Kelly’s parents were Realtors in Grande Prairie and he grew up watching the real estate industry and this community evolve. At 18 years old Kelly was traded by the Grande Prairie Storm and moved to southern BC in 1996 where he thoroughly enjoyed life in the Kooteneys and playing junior hockey. After two years in Cranbrook and Kimberley, Kelly moved to Red Deer to take his first two years of a Bachelor of Commerce degree and played hockey with the Red Deer College Kings. From Red Deer Kelly moved to Lethbridge for four years graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Management degree majoring in Human Resources and playing for the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns hockey team.
After graduation Kelly spent a year and a half in a Management position with a cattle company near Lethbridge. In 2004 Kelly and his wife Carly returned to Grande Prairie where she began recruiting for the Peace County Health Region (she is now an Instructor at the Grande Prairie Regional College) and Kelly joined the Real Estate Industry with Royal LePage. Kelly and his wife have since had three beautiful girls Rylee, Camryn and Kasey and are looking forward to watching them grow up in Grande Prairie.
In 2005 Kelly’s Real Estate peers voted him "Rookie of the Year" and over the past 11 consecutive years he has achieved the MLS Gold Award and the Royal LePage Diamond Award (given to the Top 3% in Canada) and is consistently one of the highest producing realtors in town. Alex-Sandra and her husband Stacy moved from Kelowna, BC in 2006 to start a construction company in Grande Prairie and have never looked back. Yes, the winters are colder but the people of Grande Prairie captured their hearts and Alex loves sharing all that GP has to offer.
Although Alex-Sandra is new to Real Estate in Grande Prairie, she has a great deal of experience as a successful business owner and salesperson, and sold Real Estate in Quesnel, BC before moving to Kelowna. Casey Van der Kaa

Jeff Warkentin was born and raised on a Peace Region farm east of Grande Prairie. It was there that he learned the value of a day’s work and about helping others. After completing high school Warkentin worked for a small home builder before taking time away from the workforce to complete an Associate of Christian Studies Diploma at Peace River Bible Institute in Sexsmith, Alberta. Following, Jeff earned his license to trade in Real Estate in late 2006 while employed at Devco Developments Corp. During his 8 years with Devco, Warkentin’s job was multi-faceted including work in property management, commercial construction management, residential land development, commercial leasing and residential property sales.
In 2014 Warkentin decided to focus his efforts solely in the Real Estate, using what he had learned in development, construction and property management to help others achieve their goals and dreams through real estate investment. Since joining Royal LePage-The Realty Group in March 2014 Jeff has received the Directors Platinum Sales Award for annual sales volume and Rookie of the Year for the highest volume of sales among agents new to the office.
Jeff and his wife Carlene have 4 beautiful children, Madilyn, Adele, Kale and Rhett. They are proud to call the Peace Country home and are grateful for the wealth of opportunities afforded by living in such a place. They continue to be involved and give back to their local community through leading a local youth group. In his free time, Warkentin enjoys rolling up his sleeves to work on family and friend’s construction/renovation projects or get out to the farm to help combine or go for a Sunday afternoon quad ride. As a family, Jeff and Carlene enjoy swimming at the Eastlink center or closest river (in the summer), camping and winter getaways.

My approach to Real Estate is largely inspired by my experience in Emergency Services. Raised in a small farming community in the Peace Country I understand the values of hard work, family and community. My journey to becoming a REALTOR® started with the purchase of my first home in 1999, after which I continued to invest in Real Estate through rental property, improvements and new construction. I have always enjoyed the experience of buying and selling, in 2015 I decided to pursue my passion as my career.
When I am not working you will find me with my #1, my kids; Carson, Paiton and Paris. We enjoy many outdoor and community activities, travel and camping. I can also be found at the gym training for competition in the fitness industry.
